Formation and Activation of Project Office

Under our own PSSI EPM Framework, the project management office is one of the key delivery channels of EPM. It is a mistake to think that you can simply invest on a methodology together with the supporting tools, and expect to get into an EPM environment immediately. You need the project management office as your deployment and operations agent.

There are different models that overlap in terms of purpose and function. It can be a simple autonomous project office, a project support office, a program management office, a project management center of excellence, or a hybrid of some of these typical models.

We can help you identify the model appropriate for your project management environment. We can then help you define the project office charter - its mandate, service offerings, organizational structure, and success criteria. We support you in the start-up of the office, and help you develop a plan to migrate the project office to more mature models.
